The wheelchair carrier offered by ECOTRIC is designed for easy loading and transporting of wheelchairs, scooters, or similar items. It can be used as both a carrier and a ramp, simply attached to your hitch. The heavy-duty folding hitch makes the carrier more rigid and stronger, and the tie-down straps can be hooked onto any of the tie-down holes featured on the ramp sides, allowing for a 3-position carrier (closed flat, open L-shape, and open flat).
The platform dimension is 26.8 X 46.2 inches, and the total length of the ramp when expanded is 38.7 inches. The total weight of the carrier is 75 lbs, with the ramp (gate) weighing 16 lbs, making it easy to lift. The weight capacity of the ramp is up to 500 lbs, and it features a durable black powder-coated finish.
The carrier has a 3-inch safety rail and fits all 2" receivers, hitch class III or IV. The folding ramp can also be locked flat when not in use, and the heavy-duty steel construction and internal spring-loaded pull locks ensure its durability.
It's important to note that mobility devices are not to be occupied when loading, unloading, or on the carrier, and the rated capacities of your hitch should never be exceeded. Additionally, a hitch tightener is required to prevent the rack from wobbling, and the anti-wobble plate is not included.
