Our MaxxHaul Hitch Mount Steel Cargo Carrier is designed for the safe transportation of excess cargoes that can be placed outside the vehicle. Engineered for long-term use, it features a quality all-steel material construction for durability and safety. The carrier folds up when not in use for convenience, and it fits 2" x 2" hitch receiver Class II and IV with a 500-pound distributed weight capacity.
The inner basket size measures 59" x 20" x 5-1/2", while the outer basket size is 60" x 21" x 6-1/2". The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the carrier is 6-1/2 inches. The carrier includes 6-1/2" side rails to secure the goods being transported, as well as reflectors for increased road safety.
The mesh-style basket serves as an instant cargo space, and the carrier is finished with a black powder coating for rust and corrosion resistance.
